USO Gift Giving Tree

Blessed Junipero Serra Council will be participating in the USO Gift Giving Tree event at the downtown location on December 13.  The Gift Giving Tree provides gifts for needy military families that are purchased through generous donations by major corporations in the area.  The Knights and their family and friends will help military parents with the selection and wrapping these gifts.  All participants (i.e., military parents and volunteers) will have the opportunity to dine on meals donated by local restaurants.  If you would like to volunteer, please contact the Grand Knight, Christopher Mracek.

San Diego Walk for Life

On Saturday Jan 19, 2013 at 9:00 AM there is a San Diego Walk for Life event because EVERYONE deserves to live—from conception to natural death!  It will start on the corner of 6th Ave and Laurel St,

Welcome to our Council's new Web site!  I am proud of this latest accomplishment by our Council and expect that it will be a useful tool in our communications while doing the work of our Order.  As I sit here writing this message to you, I am reflecting on how less than a year ago our Council materialized.  In such a short time, we have accomplished much, and I want to take the time to acknowledge how proud I am of our Council.

Over the past year I have worked with you, I find myself incredibly impressed by your capacity for unselfish giving and sacrifice.  So I hope that you take the time at this milestone achievement and relish in the fact that you are doing God's work and you are living the Knight's mission of "changing lives and saving lives".
